Stellaris is a Paradox 4X grand strategy game about star empires with ethics, species traits and government types. You survey the galaxy, form federations and wait for mid- and end-game crises. Economy runs on districts and jobs; diplomacy runs on claims and council resolutions. DLC packs shift evolution, machines, overlords and barracks, so the patch and DLC set change the pace.
