The Desert Kingdoms Culture Pack adds four new playable factions to Total War: ROME II. The kingdoms of Kush, Saba, and Nabatea represent African-Arabian culture, while the Masaesyli tribe has Numidian roots.

Representatives of these factions live in the deserts of Africa and Arabia. Harsh natural conditions have hardened them: their warriors are resilient, and the shifting sands help them win battles.

Despite cultural similarities, each of these factions has a unique set of military units, as well as new building chains and tech trees that define its advantages and unique playstyle.

In addition to their individual characteristics, the desert nations share common cultural traits.
