The Metro Exodus Expansion Pass add-on will contain two main story add-ons for the game, based on completely new stories from the world of Metro. Instead of Artem, players will have the chance to see through the eyes of a brand new character and one of the Spartan Rangers, the only American of the Aurora, Sam.

Metro Exodus - The Two Colonels – Just beneath the surface, beneath the dead city of Novosibirsk, Colonel Khlebnikov returns home to his son Kirill on New Year's Eve.

Metro Exodus - Sam's Story – Sam, a US Marine stationed in the Moscow embassy before the bombs dropped, has long dreamed of returning to his homeland and perhaps finding his family alive. In the dark tunnels of the metro, such a prospect seemed impossible, but when the Spartans discovered that Moscow was not the only city left alive after the war, hoping no longer seemed so foolish.
