This is a free-roaming squad-based RPG that focuses on sandbox gameplay rather than a linear story. Become a trader, thief, rebel, warlord, adventurer, farmer, slave, or simply food for cannibals.

Research new technologies and craft new gear. Buy and upgrade your own buildings to use as secure, fortified hideouts when things go wrong, or use them to start a business. Aid various factions in the world or oppose them as you strive for the power and wealth needed to simply survive in the harsh wasteland. Train your people, transforming them from pathetic victims into seasoned warriors. Carry your wounded squadmates to safety and bring them home alive.

Features

Free-roaming gameplay in a seamless world—the largest single-player RPG world since *Daggerfall*, spanning over 870 square kilometers. The game never seeks to limit you or your personal playstyle. Create as many characters as you like and build a squad to fight for you. As they gain experience, your characters will grow and become stronger—not just in their stats, but in their appearance, too.

A fresh take on the RTS-RPG hybrid genre. There are no "hero" characters with artificially inflated stats compared to everyone else; every character and NPC you meet is potentially your equal, possessing their own name and life.

You are not the "Chosen One." You are not great or powerful. You don't have more "hit points" than anyone else. You aren't the center of the universe, and you aren't special—unless you work to become so.

Build a base where you can research new technologies, upgrade your defenses, and craft new gear.

You might be captured by cannibals and eaten alive, or sold to slavers and forced to toil in the mines. These aren't scripted events, but simply a normal part of a chaotic world that can ruin your life at any moment. Anything can happen, but everything is manageable if you have the strength.

There is absolutely no level scaling. The world does not level up alongside you, and shops do not swap their stock for items matching your level. Early on, almost everyone will be stronger than you, and survival will always be a struggle. The game won't hold your hand or come to your aid when things get tough.
