We, the residents of Los Sueños, are trapped in an endless nightmare. You want to shout, "Wake up!"—but is anyone actually asleep when gunfire echoes endlessly through the streets, year after year?

All you hear about is mass killings, bombings, robberies, gang raids, cartels, human trafficking, terrorist attacks...

Will SWAT come to the rescue?

Maybe.

But how long can they hold out?

Is anyone fighting the root causes? Last night, the only charity event organized to address the crisis was attacked by terrorists. All that remains are horrific photos of victims and survivors covered in festering sores.

We are coping as best we can with droughts that rob us of food. With drugs that tear families apart. With the collapse of banking systems. With gangs thriving amidst corruption. The federal government is of little help.

It’s as if they’re just waiting for everything to fall apart.

We did what we could. You relied on the LSPD and their whole damn circus. But what do you do when the streets are boiling with the blood of the innocent?

IT’S TIME TO GATHER IN THE STREETS AND BANKS, AND LOOK THE DWELLERS OF IVORY TOWERS—AND THE ENTIRE ROTTEN, TRAITOROUS JUSTICE SYSTEM—STRAIGHT IN THE FACE.
